So I've never had a pet. Never been married, never had kids, etc. But... I'm thinking about getting a dog. I'm a single guy in my early 30s, and to be honest I'm feeling like some animal companionship would be what I need in my house. However... I know this is also a lot of work, and I am totally 100% clueless about this.
So, I live in a townhome, no yard, so that's a factor. I'd be looking for some medium sized dog, I wouldn't want a super tiny one, but my house isn't big enough (and lacks a yard) so a very big one is also bad. Preferably a more low-maintenance breed, if that makes sense? Or even exists?
Yeah, I am totally unprepared for this and have no idea what I am asking for or getting myself into. So all of you reading this and rolling your eyes or shaking your head, please, pretty please comment and educate me. Thank you.
