So my cat had some bird in his mouth that didnt fly away and threw it on a bush, it looked stuck there so i scooped it out and put it back on the ground where it just stood, his beak was moving but i heard nothing (it chirped a couple times somehow but at first it wasnt making sound)
I realized another bird was there looking at it i think it was his mom or something, and it freaked out when i took it out of the bush and it tried attacking my cat that bit it.
The mom was standing on the fence looking at the bird on the ground so i decided to put it up on the fence post and his mom went and starting poking it with her beak and she knocked him off the fence into my neighbours yard.
They saw me put it there and it fell but i dont rly talk to them I have no idea what they did after but the mom was still on the fence for a bit then i just left.
Im just wondering what i should do if that happens again i hope the bird doesnt die, I didnt see it bleeding or anything but i feel really bad for its mom since she was chirping extremely loud when looking at the ground bird
