She seems very excited! I cleaned her cage out and a few hours later she's really hyper, she's running around her cage and in her tubes and for the first time actually wants to come near me and walks onto my hand whenever I put it in her cage.
The only thing is, she's climbing stuff now. She doesn't use her ramp to get to the platform where her food and water is, instead she climbs up the side of the cage then jumps down to it. Her wheel is also next to this platform and she keeps walking on top of it then obviously she falls off because the wheel spins. Also she just climbed on top of her water bottle somehow and pushed it down so now she can't get to her water and I'll have to pull it back up again. What has brought this on? I hope what she's doing isn't gonna end up with her hurting herself. I just watched her fall off the side of her cage so I hope she's alright.
Edit: apparently these are all signs of stress. We cleaned her cage out today like I said so maybe that has something to do with it? Maybe there's not enough bedding in her cage so she can't do what she usually does with her bedding? She hasn't filled her tubes with food or bedding yet which she usually does so I'm a bit worried about her. I just want her to feel safe. I'm gonna see what she's like tomorrow and add some more bedding so she can properly make her home how she likes it to be.
