My kitty won't stop pooping on the bathroom floor, any tips?

So i've had my 2 cats (Rambo & Simba) for about a 1y 4months now and when they first came to me Simba pooped on the bathroom floor quite often but would occasionally poop in the litterbox (I had 4 boxes which were regularily cleaned) But he would always pee in them. I figured it's a health issue and took him to the vet, they said he's perfectly healthy and it seems to be a behavioural problem or the placement of the boxes so i switched them up and put them in different places in my apartment. Didn't work, he'd always go in the corner of the shower and poop regardless.

I decided to start picking up his poop and putting it in the box and then i'd pick him up and put him in there aswell and i'd hold his paw to scoop at the sand to try and mimick what Rambo does who has 0 issues with the box. Simba however didn't take the hint at all even after weeks of doing this with him. I tried to raise my voice to him whenever i caught him red handed pooping on the floor. Didn't work so i stopped that. The reason i even tried with yelling sharply whenever he did that is because it worked when he would pee on the floor in the hallway. He had done it about 4 times but when i caught him in the act i raised my voice and he completely stopped and only did it in the box. Now whenever i catch him doing it on the bathroom floor he'll almost look shocked like "Oh shit i'm caught!" and he'll jump up on the litter box as if to pretend like "Oh i totally did it in the box!" AND if i'm on the toilet and he comes in he'll happily go in the litter box and poop there but god forbid if i'm sleeping or i just went to bed he'll know it's "Safe" to do it on the floor and he damn well will do it there.

I also think he knows what hes doing is wrong because whenever he has done it on the floor and i happen to walk past the toilet door he'll come SPRINTING out of there for his dear life even though i have never been physically harsh or rough on him, i could never. I love my boys to death! However when he's done it in the box and i "Stealthily" watch him do it he'll come walking calmly and happily out of there without a care in the world.

I then started "Experimenting" with different types of litter, several clumping types, wood pellets, the non clumping crystals, i tried litter with "Cat attract" scent in it..Nothing worked. Yes he would MAYBE poop in them 2-4 times per month but 99% of the time it still goes on the floor.
Now 1year and 4 months later i decided to get one of those massive "Hop in" litterboxes and he would happily use them for roughly 5 days straight for both pooping and peeing but then he would simply stop and do it on the floor....

I'm honestly at the end of the line regarding ideas to curb his behavior. It was the same when i got a 2nd hop in box. he'd use it for a few days and then stop despite me cleaning it very thoroughly and making sure they don't stink and that there's an adequate amount of sand in there.

TLDR: Cat won't stop pooping on bathroom floor. Vet says he's healthy. I've tried tons of different things, none have worked. Any ideas? Perhaps blood tests or poop tests are in order now?
