My partner and I just adopted a kitten who was at risk. It will be another week at least before she's in our home, and I need advice helping our existing cat and her acclimate to each other.
I've done this once before but it was almost a decade ago and the kittens that were introduced were the half siblings of the older cats we had in the house. We live in a one bedroom apartment. I'm already making sure that there is nothing that the kitten will get tangled in or have fall on her, and I've gotten duplicates of the older cats' equipment so that they aren't made to share.
Any other advice for how to pull this off successfully? This is the first success we've had after searching for almost a year and I've read articles on how to work the process but most of them seem to assume that people are working with more than three spaces.
