We have a 1 year old female tabby. She has never hesitated to make the house her own and used to sleep all over, including regularly sleeping with us in our bed. A few weeks back we were concerned she was ill as she was not eating or using her littler box. We took her to the vet and they didn’t really find anything and a day or so after the appointment she resumed eating and using the box. Ever since the appointment she has been spending almost all of her time on her cat tower. If you try and move her she will run right back to the tower. It’s been over a week now and she just stays mostly up there. She does come down to eat, drink, and use the litter box. She will sometimes come down to visit with us but It’s almost as if the vet visit awakened some kind of anxiety in her..
