I went to PetsMart to buy dog food for my malti-poo. There was a rescue there with their dogs, I fell in love with a shitzu-poodle mix brother and sister. The only thing is that they are 8 years old. Is there anything that I should be concerned about like medical issues in the future or anything else I should know?
I adopted my malti-poo about a year ago, he is 3 years old and he’s my first dog. I went online with my kids and it said they tend to only make it to about 10 years, this broke my kids heart and we haven’t adopted them yet! More than anything I’m a little concerned with their age and what expectations regarding medical issues on a older dog.
