I've just seen on Twitter about someone who spent thousands of pounds on a funeral for their dog and I didn't realise this was a 'thing'.

I do think that animals are family members and a funeral for them is just as valid as for any human but is it normal to do something big like this? Personally I love it, it's just not something I see very often here in the UK.
