My cat is a healthy lad, around 7 years old. As of yesterday, for some reason he can’t shut one of his eyes and when he tries, his third eyelid/membrane shows. My parents say he shuts his eyes when he sleeps but otherwise he doesn’t.
It’s horrible to look at, I love my kitty more than anything else in the world but I can’t bring myself to fuss him or stroke him because it freaks me out.
I’m also terrified that he could be hurt in some way, or it could be an illness or infection. I don’t want to lose my cat.
He has feline schizophrenia, if that’s relevant. Does anyone else have any experience with this and know what it could be?
