First time cat owner, questions about brands and nutrition.

Hey guys, first time cat owner here, My kitten is going to come home just over a month from now, After hours of research I’ve been hearing some bad opinions on Royal Canin, and that people are opting for better brands like Orijen and Acana etc. while others said the “high quality” brands made their cats sicker, and Royal Canin is actually better for them. Science diet and Royal Canin seems to be a favorite among vets and breeders, yet the ingredients in the other brands seems more nutritious. Any personal experience and suggestions with the two brands would be really helpful as I’m torn between the options haha.

(My kittens current diet consists of two cans of Wet food and Royal Canin dry food left out for free feeding daily.)
