Title says it all. We have a male cat--let's call him f r i s k y b o y e--and we just adopted a female cat--let's call her Beautiful Snow Angel Floof--and every morning starting at 0430 they start their zoomies and crash into everything.
It is so loud. I haven't slept past five in a while. What's really starting to bother me is that it's now waking my toddler up earlier than normal and, if you're a parent, you know how not cool that is.
I've tried locking one in the guest room but they loudly protest. I've tried locking both in the room and they loudly protest. I've woken up and tried to cuddle with one on the couch just to spare my family from waking up, but the zoomies are compulsive. Trying to mitigate the situation only creates more zoomies and frisky business.
Also, I should mention that we cannot close our master bedroom door and that my SO and I are subject to bedroom zoomies around 0100 every night.
Anybody have any suggestions?
