We picked the first cat together and he got his choice of the name. He named her after his favourite musician. I decided to get a friend for her who was named after another musician he likes because he wanted to keep the names in a particular theme.
My cats are both 2 years old and now I've split up from my ex. The cats live with me but I've realised that I own two lovely cats with names I would never have chosen myself and will forever associate that with my ex.
The thought of renaming them seems a bit pointless at this point because everyone is used to their names. Shame really
