I'm moving in with someone and I have no other options, and I have to bring my 2 cats. they're very sweet, have never bitten or scratched anyone. The girl I'm moving in with has an older pit bull mix breed, he's about 9 years old, and hasn't been around cats in a very long time. He doesn't seem like an aggressive dog, however, he has attacked another dog before (because the other dog was attacking his owner)
These cats are my emotional support animals, and I will not give them away. As I said, the dog is 9 years old and there's no way she's getting rid of him either (which I wouldn't suggest that as an option in the first place)
The move makes me very anxious and I haven't had to do this before, and I don't even know where to begin. Any advice for introducing them? (We are moving into the dog's house.)
