I rescued a little Pitbull puppy from horrible conditions. She was going to be used for dog fighting. She bonded with me very quickly and literally went everywhere with me, even to work. She also sleeps with me in my bed. Currently I'm not working in the office and have to leave her at home during the day. Problem is that she chews EVERYTHING while I'm gone. Carpets, couches, tables, shoes, literally everything!!! She has never even shown interest in these things when I'm home and only chews on her toys. Therefore I have started keeping her outside as I have a massive back yard. I think she is suffering from separation anxiety. Today I came home and she ripped all the washing off of the line. She also destroyed my garden. I honestly don't know what to do. I've considered getting another dog to keep her company, but she gets the best food, best flea treatment, blankets, toys etc and I'm unsure if I would be able to afford giving the same treatment to 2 dogs. What can I do to stop her from ripping clothes off of the washing line? I'm not going to have clothes left to wear!!!!
TL;DR: How do I stop my dog from ripping clothes off of the washing line when I'm not home.
