Last night i finished a plate of chicken wings and had to go to the bathroom so set my plate on the counter without thinking. I come back to hear him lapping at something and notice a few of the wing bones on the floor. I dont really like giving him anything that could make a mess from my plates so i picked him up and put him on the couch while i picked up the bones and threw them away. fast forward about 16 hours to now my girlfriend picks him and and starts doing the belly rub he usually loves and he rows real loud and hisses and tries to get away. we thought he was just being an butt and didnt think anything about it until a half hour later he does it in the same spot as she was petting him again and she says he felt a bit swollen. I know small bones can hurt them if they splinter and apperently he hid some of them from me last night because my gf just informed me she found some this morning. We dont have money to go to a vet and its a sunday night so we cant even call anyone about it. People of reddit what is most likley wrong with him and how can we help him?
