If you love pets as I do, then you would not find it difficult to understand how attached some of us are to our pets. Unlike in the olden days where dogs used to be treated as if are some outer space alien animals, who did not deserve to come in contact with us, to some of us, our dogs are the closest friends we have got. In actual facts dogs have become some of the most usefully domesticated animal, which assist and protect us.
Many people with vision problems, such as blind people use assistant guide dogs to navigate through their daily activities. Not only that some dogs are used for security purposes, such as sniffer dogs, police dogs and other security guide dogs. Gone are the days when we use to treat dogs as wild, unwanted smelly animals. These days we cuddle them, sit with them, watch TV with then, and even take them in our cars and some beds.
Some dogs are so close to their owner, to even detect some previously hidden diseases such as cancer, or tumour, Because of this, it is very important to make sure we also take good care of these wonderful friendly and protective animals.
