I took my cat to the vet. He was very dehydrated and had not eaten in three days. He had an x-ray that revealed a growth where his kidney is. We do not know if his kidney is enlarged or if it is a tumor. He has a blood test coming in the morning to see if he is anemic. It will be another $500 for an ultrasound to see if it is a tumor or his kidney, so I do not think I can afford it. In the meantime he ate some food and has some meds to help with vitamin deficiency.
Thank you to the few who commented, you gave me a night and day of anxiety, but I am glad at least that I did not wait any longer.
