4 month old kitten not eating wet food

I adopted a kitten over a month ago and we haven’t had feeding problems until around this week. He is not eating his wet food. We switched his food gradually over the course of a week around 2 weeks ago and now he just tries to cover the food up. We warm up his food slightly, add water to it, etc. following all the tips that we find online, but it hasn’t been working. He is eating dry food normally and he’ll eat the wet from your hand, so he isn’t not eating at all. We are at a loss. We’ve switched up his dish, etc. and it’s not working. Is it healthy to feed him a dry food diet that I mix with water? I know wet is best and I don’t want to sacrifice his health whatsoever, but I’m not sure what to do.
