Abused Pets. What Do I Do?

English first language, on mobile yadda yadda.

So I have this friend from high school that I've been hanging out with for about a year and some and a few months ago so invited me over to her house. The moment I walked it I thought I was losing my mind. Her house is Disgusting! There's trash everywhere. There's rotten food and empty take out containers littering her floor. You can't see the floor of her bathroom cuz its covered in dirty clothes and trash. And from what have gathered it's apperant no one in her household uses toilet paper. But that's not the worst part.

I walk into the living room and her rabbit is in a metal cage not even a meter long (about 3 feet) and its full of rabbit poop. I mean FULL. This rabbit is on the metal bars with nothing to stand on to relive the pressure on its feet and it had no toys. Also I found a few days later she has never given her rabbit any other food than no name rabbit pellets. No greens. No veggies. Nothing. She doesn't take the rabbit out of the cage and when she does she manhandles him like he's a stuffie. But it gets even worse...

I go upstairs, which is also littered with rotten food and just an overall mess, and go into her moms room. Her mother has two leopard geckos, a ball python and a bearded dragon. The geckos are both kept in vertical candle holders. The ones incased in glass that people use for decoration. They don't have any sources of heat, they dont have any hides or places to sleep (other than the ground) and there enclosures are only about two times the size they are. The ball python didnt have any source of heat either and my friends mother told me she hadn't fed him in two months.

The worst was the bearded dragon. It's nails were so long it couldn't walk properly. Its encloser had nothing in besides an empty water dish and a fake plant from a fish tank. And they carried it around All The Time. The poor little guy was manhandled, poked, prodded and not given any rest all day. And my friend told me that's the norm and that the bearded dragon was used to it. They also only have it on a diet powdered food. Again, no greens, no veggies, no crickets or meal worms. Nothing.

Recently my friends younger sister (about 14) got drunk. Yeah. 14 year old sister. Drunk. And brought home a pit bull puppy. Just like the bearded dragon, manhandled. Not aloud to sleep. Never aloud alone time. And I've been there in person when the puppy started throwing up and blacking out because they forgot to feed it since the day before. That puppy has since grown up and they still dont take care of it. The dog has never been trained, ever. So it acts out and destroys thing. Bites people. Takes dumps on the floor, mostly because they don't take it out more than once a day. The dog is on no name dog kibble but they only give her about half a cup of it a day. So shes always hungry and always tries to steal other people food. When she acts out they scream at her and push her away but she doesn't no any better. At this point the pitbull is almost fully grown and they keep her in a medium sized dog crate 50% of the time.

My friend recently went to work early and called me at about 4pm to ask me to go over to her house and let the dog out of the crate cuz she forgot to when she left for work. At 9 in the morning. When I asked why she couldn't cuz she had just gotten off she said she was heading over to a friends house and didnt want to go all the way back home to let the dog out.

They also recently got a cat. They didnt buy it or adopt it. My friends mom stole it from someone's house. Details are a little fuzzy. And just like the dog the cat is underfed, yelled at and swatted away. And it's litter box only gets cleaned every few days. It's escaped the house and gone missing several times and no one seems to care. Apparantly one of my friends neighbors stole it or something? And only gave it back after a fee days but again, no one really cared.

I haven't gone over to her house in a while because it's just so disgusting. But since then the bearded dragon and the rabbit have died, it was only about 4. And they left it's dead body in the cage for almost 3 days. I had to come over and pick it up because my friend refused to do anything about it. Then when I was gearing up to throw it away my friends mom told me to put it in this mini freezer. So I did, and when I opened it I found a pet grave yard. Two creasted geckos, a baby bearded dragon and there full grown one. Also, quite a number of goldfish. I don't know why the family is keeping them but it's really creepy and morbid.

My friend has since talked about getting a hamster and her mom wants to get another bearded dragon. I don't know what to do. I'm an pet owner and if someone treated my pets the way these people treat theres I'd beat the crap outta someone. I've brought up the flaws in there care and even bought some of the pets some supplies but no one in the family seems to notice (or cate) that these animals are being abused. And I'm really scared of offending my friend and her family because she's one of my only friends (and her sister is a drug addict and has a history of being violent when confronted about certain things) but I can't just watch more animals die in that house hold. What should I do?
