So I have never had a dog in my life. Now that I am out on my own and just purchased my first home, I am REALLY wanting to finally adopt a puppy. I would prefer a very small breed that is affectionate (I’ve been to homes that have cats that want nothing to do with you and this is NOT what I want in a puppy haha!). I am seriously considering a Pomeranian or pug. Obviously I have no experience with characteristics of different breeds. Could someone offer any advice or breeds they would recommend? (yes I know each dog has its own individual personality)
