Cat Been Gone for 2 Days. Will She dehydrate Herself?

My cat spends a lot of time outdoors. Usually I let her out at night and she's inside by morning. Yesterday morning I couldn't find her. I'm really worried because it's really hot outside. Like over 100 degrees F at times. And I was wondering if she got scared and hid, if she would hide until she dies of dehydration.

I have checked all the trees in the neighborhood and put wanted signs, knocked on doors, spread kitty litter. Put food out.

There are dogs on the next door property. But none of their owners said they had seen signs of a dead animal.

Cats can only live 3 days without water. And I'm guessing that time is shorter with the heat. It has been exactly 2 days since she left and I know she drank right before I let her out. There are water sources all around my neighborhood and my yard. (It's a big yard). Could a cat hide until she dies?
