I got a cat about a month ago and he keeps digging in his litter box to the bottom, I’ve come home some days to the litter box being half empty. He will sit there for 10-20 min just digging. And he isn’t going to the bathroom. We went to the vet about 2 weeks ago and there was no UTI, I scoop daily and put fresh litter in every 2 weeks. I rinse out the litter box with soap and water. My vet said that cats don’t like closed top litter boxes but I’m serious considering one because my cat just won’t stop.
