(Disclaimer, before I get roasted. I'm not a dog owner, but we had dogs in the family growing up. I have no animosity towards dogs at all, and I'd have my own if I thought I could devote enough time to one).
I peruse youtube now and then, and often see vids wherein a dog (or some other animal/pet) will be allowed to actively lick a child's face, often putting their tongue inside the child's mouth.
Why do parents allow this? I know there is 'only a small chance' of the child getting sick, but who in their right mind would want that?
