Recently got a 3 month old cat (Timmy) now lives with us and our 3 year old cat (August)
Are they... friends? Timmy just runs around and eats food (regardless of what bowl it's in, so she'll sometimes eat out of August's bowl) and she chases August. August hisses when Timmy comes close.
My concern is; will they ever be friends and live together AND at this point (Timmy has been with us for 3 weeks now) is there a chance August will attack Timmy?
What steps do I need to make to make them closr to each other but also make sure August doesn't attack Timmy while everyone is away at work?
EDIT: August has never attacked Timmy... yet. Only hissing.
