Fiancé and I adopted a 1.5 year old dog on Tuesday. She had an accident the first night in the kennel then proceeded to not pee the next 2 days. She peed again on her walk yesterday, but hasn’t urinated since. Also doesn’t really poop a whole lot either.
We have been bringing her out to the yard on a regular schedule and stand there liek at sautés for about 10 minutes at a time hoping she’ll pee. No success yet.
Wondering if anyone has any insight or tips on how to encourage a dog to urinate more regularly?
