Hey guys! I need advice on how to groom a long haired cat? I recently was given a long haired cat whose hair was super matted, still is, but her previous owners cut her hair to get the mats out and to me, it looks like when they did they ended up cutting her skin. She's only half trimmed and I've tended to her wounds, but I wanna know what I can do to help with her matting? Obviously I know brushing is important (which I don't think her previous owners did), but is there a certain way or certain brush? Thank you!
