I love my cats more than anything and they’re killing themselves with all the scratching they do. Their fur is falling out, patches of skin red and exposed, covered in bumps, claw marks, and one of their throats is almost always stained red. I’ve given them flea baths, disinfected the basement, sprayed them with stuff thats supposed to kill the fleas off, sprayed the couch and cat tree with repellent, replaced the litterbox, replaced the food bowls, yet nothing I do helps. My mom is absolutely refusing to take them to the vet for no reason— I have enough money to pay for the checkup myself, but she just won’t. I’m 14 and she is my only method of transportation. I also have an extreme anxiety disorder along with autism, I wouldn’t be able to get through talking to the veterinarian and filling out any paperwork by myself anyway.
Is there any other cure I can try? A medicine or at-home injection or anything? I can’t just let my cats die in front of me.
