Hey folks, so I'm in a predicament. Here's the situation; about three and a half years ago, my sister and I adopted two cats who are siblings. For the next couple of years they've grown and lived together, and are the best of friends. The problem is that now I'm moving out to attend college, and want to take my cat with me. However, I'm worried that he'll become depressed without his brother. I can't take both of them (not that my sister would be willing to give up her cat at any rate) but I really don't want to leave him behind. Will they remember each other if reintroduced a month away? Has anyone had a similar situation? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!!
