Hey guys, not sure if this is the right sub reddit to post this but me and my gf have bit of a dilemma.
My cat is around 1 years old, last night unaware left our window slightly opened. My cat apparently jumped out from 7 stories high onto nearby roof possibly (3-4 stories down) We thought we lost her forever but...
While we were surveying the nearby yards on our balcony, we saw out cat staring at us from the backyard adjacent to our building however there is no way for us to access that area to retrieve it. Also assuming our cat knows we're there, there's no way for her to get to us 7 stories high (our entrance is also on the opposite side)
The best thing we can do is just ask to check the backyard right? nope, the owner or occupants of that house is very reluctant to let us in; so is a no go from that perspective.
This sucks, knowing our cat's alive but there's no way to get to it.
We can access a parking lot across the street from the backyard but there's 2 fences between it. Is there a way to let my cat know we are there and have her come to us?
