On Monday. There’s has been three incidents now where the dog (he is a pitbull) has gotten in trouble. First time he attacked his own pup. The puppy has been away for a while and my uncle brought it over for my sisters birthday it was just outside minding it’s business. My mom let out both of the dogs chopper (the one that will possibly be put down) and iris. Chopper immediately went to attack the puppy while my uncle tried to get him off iris bit my uncle. Chopper is just a big goofy dog my parents never really trained him or iris. Iris is protective, she doesn’t snap at anyone but if my dad is yelling at my sisters she’ll get in front of them and growl. They are in shitty conditions we got iris before chopper and idk I guess chopper never really grew out of being a puppy and never was trained iris has always been chill but anyways, that was the first incident the second is when my mom let chopper out he jumped the fence and attacked another pitbull from what I was told my teenage sister was watching and the owner of that dog had his dog on a leash and from what my sister said he let his dog lunge at chopper. Not sure if that happened that’s just what I was being told. And the third she told me chopper bit a kid my uncles girlfriend nephew who he (chopper) didn’t know. Not a big bite but just kind of knicked him. I would take chopper but my apartment is too small for him. My mom just keeps these dogs in cages all day lets them out probably three times a day. Because chopper will pee on stuff or they’ll leave big poops and honestly she just doesn’t want to properly take care of them obviously. I don’t know why they got another dog. What can I do? My hands are tied. I don’t think he deserves to fucking die for not being raised properly. I feel like it’s all just built up energy from being the cage all day but with those incidents I just wanted some outside opinions. I know no one can really say if he’ll do it again or not. Just some kind of help or advice would be appreciated. I do love this dog and like I said it’s not his fault how he was raised.
