Stray cat followed me home today, I already have a cat and a dog who are not taking it well, but stray cat remains calm. What are the risks to try to socialize it with my pets?

The stray cat is a male, older cat, my home cat is female, 3 years old, my dog is male, 4 years old. My cat and dog get along well, but the stray cat is making my cat nervous, he meows, she meows back aggressively, my dog goes to see what's making my cat upset and my cat lashes out at my dog, which she never does.

I gave the stray cat some water and food, and seems very well socialized, lets himself be petted and it's very loving. But I'm not sure if I am putting my pets at risk by attempting to "adopt" it.
