hello, i just realized my cat has worms (there were noticeable on his butt, sorry not a native english speaker).
i also noticed a week ago he has ticks (those small insects).
I'm taking him to the vet next week. I'm worried i have catched/might catch something from him since i hug him, kiss him, he sleeps on my clothes, i don't always wash my hands before i eat, also i have open wounds on my body that he is sometimes in contact with etc.
Not sure if i should take anything? vermox etc? or wait until i notice any symptom on myself? i wouldn't stand getting parasites, it's a big fear for me
