Hey guys, unfortunately, today I was alerted that my 7-year-old rotty has an osteosarcoma near the upper humerus region. I just don't know what to do from this point, prognosis without the amputation is 3-5 months before death and with the amputation and Chemo it'll be another 1 year on average. My dilemma is my dog is 60kg and his front left leg would need to get completely amputated, I'm worried that his QOL won't be as good and that it might be more uncomfortable for him than not amputating and putting him on painkillers and anti - inflams and making his life as good as possible giving him what he wants to eat and taking him to new places. Anybody who has experience with this any advice or opinions are appreciated.
Thank you so much <3
