I've been wanting to adopt a pet for a long time now, but beacuse of my work schedule it seems mostly out of the question. I am away from home most of the week, usually leaving early on mondays an getting back late on thursdays, somtimes fridays, but I'm always home for the weekends. I life in a rather small two room apartment in the city, pets are allowed, but I live alone and don't know anybody who could feed/walk a pet for me on the daily. I'm also financially stable and willing to splurge on this. Are there any suitable pets that can be kept inside humanely, while being fed only once or twice a week, or by an automated system, and are cool with being left alone or in pairs most of the time? I think there are some suitable amphibians and insects, but I don't really know what my options are. Basically, I'm looking for ideas so I can start my own research. Thanks in advance.
