Cat fleas - home cleaning suggestions?

The vet couldn't find fleas on the cat but did find she has tapeworms. I haven't seen any fleas in the home. But after I got home from the vet I checked all the pet bedding and there was flea larva on her one window blanket.

I bagged it all up and I'm going to wash everything in hot water this weekend. But does this really kill the fleas or should I just throw the pet bedding away?

I'm also going to vacuum all the surfaces and then spray around the home with pet safe spray on the furniture and carpet.

Anything else you suggest? Keeping in mind I have yet to see a live flea, but did see flea larva on her one blanket.

Edited to add: she's a completely indoor cat. The vet gave her a dewormer shot and sent me home with a monthly flea treatment. I adopted her in June. It's possible she arrived with fleas and I didn't notice. I took her to the vet because she seemed to be scratching (just around her neck) a lot.
