Husband and I moved to a new apartment almost 2 months ago. I got a full time job and my husband also works full time. It seems like our cat HATES the new apartment. It is much larger than our last one and she does not like night time. She used to be quiet all night every night, but now she will sit outside our door and meow. She wants us to come out and go upstairs to be with her (I think she especially dislikes the basement where we sleep).
She has been meowing at night right outside our door and it's getting very frustrating for us. We have been ignoring her but we can't get her to stop. When she knows we are awake in our bedroom she'll sit outside and meow.
Is there anything we can do besides 100% ignoring her?
