My cat has been sick for the past 3 weeks. We went to the doctor and they don't know what is wrong. So they put him on antibiotics. (9 months ago the same symptoms and the biotics worked) Only this time we have to give it for a week and a half. (symptoms, does not want to eat enough and has fluid in the belly) He is only 6. Last time we did extensive research it cost a lot lot, and they did not find the cause.
The last few days (2) he hasn't eaten properly and puked up 1 hour after the pills (Side Effect). Now he is done with the treatment and still looks sick and has diarrhea ( which he nicely spread all over the house. Any tips on how to clean it from his butt and fur are appreciated).
He hates the doctors (the doctors are scared since he attacked them like a madman. He never attacks us) but he is losing weight. Any tips to get him eating? I tried more snacks he loves but I think that might have caused the diarrhea.
I am going again to the doctor tomorrow, I just need some support and tips to make him more comfortable. Its been a hard few weeks and it is sad seeing him so sick.
