Hi,
I have a 7 year old cat, he's led a very healthy life and is active, playful, average weight and very happy, and not lethargic at all.
Today, three times now he has puked up his food moments after eating it.
We have two cats, and in the past, this cat who is doing the vomiting definitely suffered from eating too fast, so we feed them in separate rooms, and make sure he isn't pressured to eat his food super fast.
Today, as I normally do, I fed him his breakfast (which is almost all freeze-dried raw food, soaked in water - he loves it to be soupy in texture, so he is getting tons of water with each meal) and within a few moments he puked it all up.
I thought not much of it, but thought I would try to give him a few smaller meals throughout the day to see if it was his stomach acid or bile maybe causing some issues.
I gave him some treats, he puked them up immediately.
I waited 3-4 hours ,gave him water, he drank - held it down, gave him some smaller different treats and he threw them up nearly immediately.
Other than the puking he seems fine. He's even up to his normal trouble causing.
There are no plants in our house - because he tries to eat them all, nothing he could have gotten in to (that I've noticed).
He has no other symptoms.
He will puke up his food, then he will puke a smaller puddle of bile/stomach acid a few seconds later in a different spot usually.
Any ideas for me?
