I have had cats for around 3-4 months now. I have two, one female and one male, they are siblings and they are out in our yard the whole day. It's quite a big yard with lots of stuff, so they never seem bored and they seem to be getting along with the neighbour's pets just fine.
However, recently they never want to leave my side. Whenever I go out to do something, they always hang around me (which is fine), but then they always want to cuddle. I usually give in, because they are too cute to resist, but they just want it to go on forever. Half an hour, one hour, two hours. They don't care. They don't want me to leave, and when I eventually do and put them on the ground, they just keep meowing in this really sad voice and sometimes they get offended and turn their backs on me.
This might seem like a silly complaint, but I'm new to the whole pet ownership thing, and I just don't know what to do. When I leave them, I feel bad, but I have stuff to do and a life to live. Am I doing something wrong, or is this just something they will have to learn to accept?
