As the title says I will be moving to a different country, not anytime soon but sometime early next year. Already I can’t bear the thought of being away from them, I’m already bawling my eyes out just thinking about it.
I have 3 cats; a 6 years old, a 3 years old, and a 4 months old. They’re all so very dear to me, I don’t think I’ve ever loved anyone more than I love these cats. The problem is I believe it would be very unfair and risky to bring them along with me on air travel. Especially because the 6 years old has slight anxiety and can get really stressed in loud and rough environments.
One option I have is to ask my aunty to look after them while I’m gone, that way I can visit them when I come back for holidays. I trust her and her family to provide the love and care they need, just that I think the cats will need some time to get used to the change. Though this is not confirmed so she might say no, leaving me no other choice but to let them up for adoption which is not my most desired option.
So at this point I’m just trying to decide what would be best for them, as I may be moving again to another country in 5 years time or so. I would love to hear your advices on what I could do.
