I am set to adopt a cat on Saturday. I have bought all of the supplies for her. I am getting so nervous, though. She is vaccinated, spayed, checked for flees and worms and has been to the vet recently. I am just scared that something will happen that I won't be able to afford, as I am in graduate school. I do have a job and an emergency money fund but unfortunately I tend to run into a lot of dental issues and have to pay out of pocket for when that arises. And I'm afraid of an emergency vet bill... that's really my only concern.
I'm getting cold feet: please help. I really want a cat and feel ready to give her love and care.
