I have never owned a dog in my life so I’m curious and tensed. I know dogs need care. Vets bills arent a issue but timing is. I have uni 3 days a week and my classes are mostly in the morning. But that’s just for this semester. After this semester I will have 3 more semester. After acquiring my graduate I will do masters for 2 more years. So you can see I have a few years of studying ahead of me. I am an international student and I live alone in my apartment. So I dont have a housemate to dog sit or anything. I have been struggling with depression due to home sickness and my therapist suggested I get a dog. I was wondering will my dog be alright by itself at home when I’m at uni ? I want to get a smaller breed so they can walk around the apartment. But if my scenario is not safe for my puppy then I will wait until I graduate uni to get a pet. Then I will be able to drop it off at dog care at day when I go to work, rn that’s a lot of finance for me.
