So I recently adopted a cat named Oliver and I’ve been nervous to let my dog see him. Daisy (my dog) has barked at cats before so when I brought Oliver in a carrier, she seemed curious but then when I took him out, she tried to bite him.
After a while of being in my room with Oliver, Daisy whines when anybody goes in my room and doesn’t let her in. Every time Oliver hears her, he hides behind my chair so I’d assume he’s scared of her.
Is there any advice in calming down my dog around Oliver? I know she can be good, but I don’t want to take a chance of Oliver potentially getting hurt.
