Like the title says, my partner and I are looking at getting a cat. We will mostly likely get a kitten and we would love some advice!
A little bit of background information.
-We live in an apartment near a park filled with dogs, and a main road, so we will keep it as an indoor only cat.
-My partner is self employed and works from home, so will always be with a the cat.
-We have both had pets in the past, but never a cat ( we both come from dog households)
-We know what items are essential (Bed, Bowls, litter box, scratch post and some toys) but don’t know whether there is a particular brand of litter / food that is best. Do they prefer wet or dry food?
-We will be getting pet insurance and having the cat looked at soon after we get it to check everything is okay.
And advice or little tips would be greatly appreciated!
