Roommate got a new cat. Now mine lives in fear and poops on the floor.

My 12 year old cat, years ago, lived with an older cat when I was married, then after that with a larger dog. When I moved out, he started pooping on the floor (because of stress), so I took him with me to my new place.

My current roommate had a cat (22) who was an absolute goblin who chased mine around and cornered him, making him so scared that he peed and popped on my bed. Roommate started keeping his goblin in his room with a baby gate, because his goblin was too old to jump it. My cat pooped on the floor almost every day.

Eventually the goblin died and within a week my cat pooped in his box. My cat spent all of his time with my roommate snuggling.

A month later my roommate decides to get a new cat (4) on a trial basis. Except when he goes to get the cat it's not a trial, the cat is here to stay. After a few days of peacefully coexisting, his new cat decides to start guarding my cat's litter box and hissing. Mine leaves bloody stress poops in the car corner and hasn't stopped for a week. Roommate keeps his cat behind his closed bedroom door and mine poops in the box. If my roommate sleeps with his door cracked (for air, so he can breathe), mine poops on the floor in a corner. His cat poops at the foot of my bed and pees on my blanket, I clean it up. My cat poops on the exact same spot.

We now have flea bites on our forearms and ankles. I've treated my cat and asked him to treat his and he says "oh I keep forgetting)

I've talked to my roommate about it but he blames me for it, saying I'm not cleaning it enough when my cat does it, or offers nothing but neutral remarks or mountains of behavioral research and all the things he's going to do to get them to like each other, and I'm like bro. There's poop where I sleep.

Yesterday my cat didn't eat or drink and pooped on the floor again.

We have calming collars, a pheromone diffuser, clean litter the cats like, foaming enzymatic carpet cleaner, essential oil cat repellant.

What do
