I have two indoor cats, both prior strays and both have feline herpes. I have a long vacation coming up and I'm a bit worried about my cats. We have a pet sitter that we love that comes twice a day for a half hour a day. She will definitely provide them with adequate food, water and some play. But my cats are very needy, accustomed to people in the house all day, and tend to get herpes flares when they are stressed.
I'd like to set up some additional indoor stimulation for them while I'm gone. I'm thinking: automatic treat dispensers, turning the tv on and off on a timer tuned to bird videos, toys that turn themselves on or off, smart toys that can be triggered by wifi -- but I'm having trouble locating any of the above items/solutions.
Does anybody have automatic cat toys or treat dispensers that they recommend?
