Our dog used to let us trim her nails as a puppy, but as she's grown up she's started to absolutely hate it and tries to run away and snaps when we go to do it.
I'm possibly bringing her to a groomer tomorrow, but I want to try to trim her nails myself first because I have a feeling that the new person and unfamiliar surroundings and smell of other dogs is just going to make things 10 times more difficult.
So does anyone have any advice on trimming a dogs nails when they hate getting their nails trimmed?
