My cat was a rescue, he is 2 years old and I’ve had him since he was a kitten. He has always been really sweet and affectionate, and I LOVE that about him. Recently however, he is really clingy. I can’t walk from my living room to my kitchen without him running between my legs the entire time. If I try cooking something, he is basically sitting on my feet the entire time. When I’m sitting on the couch on my phone he will sit on my lap and try to knock my phone out of my hand. If I close the door to my room he scratches and cries. When I first come home after being away he pounces at the window when he sees my car and is all over my feet when I walk inside. I have NEVER had a cat like this. He used to act like a normal cat, who would want affection on their terms until they decided they were done. I don’t know where this came from or why. Has anyone experienced anything similar? I hope he’s not sick and trying to tell me he doesn’t feel well or something.
