He's roughly a year and a bit and has had it since we adopted him from a cat cafe!
We took him to a pet hospital and they did tests, all clear except missing a shot for herpes due to having a high number of... some type of immune system cells from either already having the disease or from already having the shot. He was snotty and congested breathing.
Flash forward to a few weeks later after giving some antibiotics and his symptoms have reappeared after a few weeks after that. Took him to a different vet, he has herpes.
Given medicine to reduce symptoms (pretty much a cold) and was told that after he gets better to be careful to not let him get sick as his immune system is low due to his herpes.
Does anyone have experience for this? Anyone know if a cold room will get him sick quicker (he's a british blue breed).
Thank you!
