I guess I should add some backstory here. My friend found a kitten a few years ago. Took it in. Raised it for the first 8 months or so. She had to move for work with the army so her parents took the cat for roughly a year while she got settled into a new place. She would visit every once in a while. This week my friend took her cat back and brought her into a new place. She's now hiding in the house and doesn't seem to want anything to do with anyone. Is this pretty normal? The cat will come around once it's adjusted correct? I feel really bad because this cat is really important to her and she's totally stressing about it. What's the best way to get the little one to adjust and come out of hiding?
